Customer Services Administrator

We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our Admin & Customer Service Centre based at our Leicester head office .

Whilst we are ideally seeking candidates with proven solution based sales experience, we would also be keen to speak with Fire & Security Engineers (Service, Install or Commissioning) who are looking to move into sales. Security Service Engineer

Security Service Engineer Position Overview

An experienced Security Service Engineer is required to service and fault find on Intruder Alarms, CCTV and Access Control systems. The ideal will candidate will have at least 5 years' experience within the Fire & Security industry. The role will suit an ambitious and adaptable individual who is looking to work for a reputable company and progress their career.

We require a skilled Security Service Engineer to join their growing work force where they will be expected to cover mostly East Midlands with occasional work on National sites.

Security Service Engineer Position Requirements

  • At least 5 years' experience servicing on Intruder Alarms, CCTV and Access Control systems
  • Full UK driving license
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience working for an NSI gold accredited company
  • Must be based in or close to East Midlands

Part Time Stores Controller

Part Time Stores Controller

Managing stores including ordering and stock management, Purchase invoice entry, Maintenance and building housekeeping.

Main Duties

  • Efficient operation of stores involving raising all order, managing stock ensuring appropriate levels are maintained
  • Maintaining an inventory and supplier database
  • Control of stock, tracking goods inwards, dispatches, returns and recording of incoming post, and returns using royal mail and couriers
  • Receiving all deliveries and distributing accordingly
  • Operate the purchase order system, raising orders for all goods and services, inputting all invoices onto the accounts database
  • Carry out general maintenance and housekeeping of the property as required
  • Ensure kit is arranged for pick up by Engineers
  • Deliver kit to site when required
  • Conduct stock checks and stock counts at interval periods
  • Assist in the ordering of office overheads
  • Chase outstanding orders

Skills required

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs Grade C or above must include English and Math's, a Science would be desirable.
  • Demonstrate initiative and ability to multi-task, with a 'can-do’ attitude to work to tight deadlines and competing demands
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form
  • Computer literate and confident using Microsoft Office
  • Flexible approach to working additional hours when required

Security Patrol Officer/Area Support

Security Patrol Officer/Area Support

 

A valid SIA Security License and a CVIT License will be an advantage.  A valid Driver’s license is required for this position.  Due to insurance restrictions, you must be at least 21 years old to apply for this role. 

Prime Role and Key Responsibilities:

To provide security patrol responsibilities across a wide range and variety of sites as well as support cover for static guarding sites when required. To provide support for locking and unlocking client’s facilities as well as conducting welfare checks and responding to alarm activations. Completing all necessary paperwork and contacting clients when necessary.

Security Patrol Officer/Area Support should:

  • understand the basics of (or know where to access) standards, policies and procedures, as well as instructions for attending Customer premises
  • understand escalation procedures and departmental functions around the business
  • follow direction from their Supervisor or Line Manager
  • provide reports as required
  • Ensure they display a valid SIA license and Company ID Card at all times
  • Ensure their uniform is smart and presentable at all times

While performing your duties you must be able to work autonomously and take responsibility. You should ensure a high quality output of work and ensure that processes are followed and instructions from the Supervisor are followed. Patrol Officers should liaise professionally with the Control Room team and Customers alike. It is essential that Patrol Officers ensure compliance to industry standards, company policies and procedures for their shift. All documentation and records are to be completed correctly.

Key Responsibilities – Patrol Officer

  • Respond to activations/conduct patrols/attend sites professionally and within the required timescale
  • Liaise with the Police, Fire Service and other agencies in an emergency and on all issues affecting security, surrounding customer premises (or escalate via a Supervisor or the Control Room team)
  • Assist Control Room Operatives during incidents by advising them of appropriate action to be taken and supporting colleagues where necessary
  • Deal with emails and respond to ad-hoc requests
  • Complete daily tasks – duty sheet, incident reports, conduct handovers and communications and all required paperwork to a high standard
  • The post holder will ensure the health, safety and welfare of themselves and those under their control in accordance with company policies.
  • To actively support at all times, company policy and best practice in the area of security, with particular emphasis on the protection of sensitive customer information
  • Any other reasonable requests from the management team

Key Responsibilities – Area Support

  • When necessary provide Security Officer cover on static sites.
  • Conduct foot patrols professionally and within the required timescale to include locking/unlocking the premises.
  • Liaise with the Police, Fire Service and other agencies in an emergency and on all issues affecting security, surrounding customer premises (or escalate via a Supervisor or the Control Room team)
  • Assist Control Room Operatives during incidents by advising the controller of appropriate action to be taken and supporting colleagues where necessary
  • Deal with emails and respond to ad-hoc requests
  • Complete daily tasks – duty sheet, incident reports, conduct handovers and communications and all required paperwork to a high standard
  • Access Control
  • Depending on the site, monitor CCTV

In return for your commitment to our Clients and the company, we will offer you:

  • A competitive wage rate per hour. When performing site duties, the pay rate will be based on the site you are working at.

Shifts may comprise Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends, Bank Holidays and Public Holidays.

 

Guardian Protection Services Security Officer

A valid SIA Security License will be an advantage.

Static Security Officers should be able to work autonomously and take responsibility of the site they are proving security for. They should ensure a high-quality output of work and ensure that processes are followed and instructions from the Supervisor are followed. Static Security Officers should liaise professionally with the Control Room team and Customers alike. It is essential that Static Security Officers ensure compliance to industry standards, company policies and procedures for their shift. All documentation and records are to be completed correctly.

Static Security Officers should:

- Understand the basics of (or know where to access) standards, policies and procedures, as well as instructions for a Customer premises

- Understand escalation procedures and departmental functions around the business

- Follow direction from their Supervisor or Line Manager

- Provide reports as required

- Ensure they display a valid SIA license and Company ID Card at all times

- Ensure their uniform is smart presentable at all times

General Tasks

  • Conduct patrols professionally and within the required timescale to include locking/unlocking the premises
  • Liaise with the Police, Fire Service and other agencies in an emergency and on all issues affecting security, surrounding customer premises (or escalate via a Supervisor or the Control Room team)
  • Assist controllers during incidents by advising the controller of appropriate action to be taken and supporting colleagues where necessary

  • Depending on the site, monitor CCTV
